Fall Competition Cheerleading season runs from May-November

Outdoor practices and home games will be held at Emricson park. Indoor practices will take place at Commit Fitness Center located at 411 Leah Ln.

Teams practice 2-3 times per week. Additional practices may be added during a competition week and practices before a competition are mandatory.

Teams will cheer for tackle football home games on weekends during the football season. On weekends of a cheer competition, the competition will take priority over home game cheering.

WTC competes in 3 ICA cheer competitions throughout the season. If a team earns a bid to State, they will compete in the State Championship at Northern Illinois University in November.

During the season, WTC will have a 2-day stunting clinic at Royalty Gymnastics that is included with registration. This is to help athletes improve stunting and tumbling skills with trained professionals.

Game day uniforms are provided. Competition uniforms are not included and can be purchased separately at time of uniform fittings before the season starts. The additional cost of a new uniform is approximately $300. Uniform includes custom-fit skirt, top and competition jacket. Athletes will receive bows, and other spirit wear as part of competition gifts that are included in registration. Additional purchases include competition cheer shoes.
